Earlier IGNOU was broadcasting two educational TV channels; DD Gyan Darshan 1 and DD Gyan Darshan 2. After migration of satellites from INSAT 3C to GSAT-10. Now both channels started again with the new name.
Gyan Dhara Educational TV Channel –
Gyan Dhara is an internet audio counseling service offered by IGNOU. Students can listen to the live discussions by the teachers and experts on the topic of the day and interact with them through telephone and chat.
Gyan Dhara interaction timing is 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Gyan Dhara programs can be also heard on FM channel Gyan Vaani from 8 am to 8 pm.
Gyan Dhara channel is the free-to-air channel that is available now on GSAT 10 satellite. Here is a downlink frequency to tune this channel.
DD Gyan Darshan Educational TV Channel –
DD Gyan Darshan was initially launched on 26th January 2000 but it has shut down due to satellite migration from INSAT 3C to GSAT-10. Here is the satellite frequency of the DD Gyan Darshan TV channel.
