DD Bangla News is a free Bengali satellite channel. It is broadcast from Doordarshan’s Kolkata, Jalpaiguri and Santiniketan centres. The channel was started in 1959, but the first television in West Bengal came on August 09, 1975. The channel is owned by Prasar Bharati, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
If you are not getting this channel on your platform then you can demand this FTA channel from your multi-system operator (MSO). There will not be any additional subscription charges because it is an FTA channel.
