Zee TV converted into a pay TV channel with effect from 10 June 2001, We added Zee TV old Ident when it was a free-to-air TV channel on Satellite Analog decoders.

Old Memories –

I clearly remember that around 1997, my father brought a big dish antenna, which used to receive a few channels, Zee TV was one of them. Even today, we have that analog satellite decoder which had clock-like hands which used to show satellite signals, it would still be there when we used to watch different channels by turning the tone like a radio. So we have found this identity to refresh the memories of others as well as those who were born at that time.

You can check its old identity when it was free-to-air. You can find other oldest TV channel ident and memories.

Note: Although today’s Zee TV is more advanced & premium than before and now it is not even free-to-air.
