Sudarshan News is an Indian right-wing free-to-air news channel, founded on 09 August 2005 by Chairman and Editor-in-Chief Suresh Chavhanke. Chavhanke was a long-term volunteer of the Hindu nationalist organization Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and was an alumnus of the RSS. Shakha was also associated with Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad.
